We went to the Newport Aquarium today. I learned a number of things. Jellyfish are crazy cool, otters and penguins are all kinds of cute, fish of the blue variety are by far my favorite and sharks are still daunting.. even though we were protected by a good foot of acrylic wall.
We learned some interesting acts about sharks…
- Some sharks can have up to 30,000 teeth in their lifetime.
- There are about 5 shark related deaths in the world each year; and there are about 25 dog related deaths each year in the US.
- Sharks are cool.
